Product Description

We have the perfect solution for printing your annual reports, magazines, brochures and other booklets Saddle stitched means binding pages together using staples (known as stitches) along the spine. This is a straightforward technique for documents up to 48 printed pages, giving you a professional finish with sharp, vibrant colour at a low price. We also square off the spine for an even better finish on books with more than 24 printed pages, to stop booklets from “springing open”.

All must be created in multiples of 4 pages, counting each page as you would in a normal page numbered book. Thus, a single page folded in half becomes a 4-page “book” and so on.

We have a great range of high-quality papers for you to choose from, including a broad selection of luxury papers. Choose heavier stock for the cover, with a choice of matt or gloss lamination for added strength. Choose a lighter stock for inner text pages (and for more than 28 pages, 130gsm or lighter to stop your document springing open).

Use our easy online ordering process to choose the size and finish you need from A4 portrait, 1/3 A4 portrait, A5 portrait or landscape, or 210 x 210mm square. Then choose from single or double-sided lamination in gloss or matt finish for your cover, or opt for no lamination.

Paper Options

Silk: Silk coated paper has a smooth feel with a discreet surface sheen. It offers excellent ink to paper contrast and printed colours appear distinct and clear. A recycled option is available. (130gsm – 350gsm)

Gloss: Gloss coated paper has a shiny surface and very smooth finish. Colour is sharp and stands out well. Ink dries quickly and the need for lamination is reduced. (130gsm – 350gsm)

Premium uncoated: Our premium uncoated paper is more absorbent than coated papers. Printed inks appear smoother due to this absorbency and the paper has a soft finish. A recycled option is available. (100gsm – 350gsm)

Finishes

Matt lamination gives a soft, contemporary effect. Gloss lamination gives a higher quality shine finish than gloss card. Lamination is most useful with solid colours or images to enhance their vibrancy or where you want to protect your printed documents. Lamination is only available on stocks over 250gsm.

Lamination is not available on luxury papers. We offer the largest range of saddle-stitched brochures online with fast and efficient turnarounds and speedy delivery. Read our customer reviews for brochures.
